Black Lives Matter New Hampshire (BLM NH) was established in response to the urgent need for racial justice and equity in New Hampshire where Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities face systemic racism and marginalization. From its inception, BLM NH has been committed to addressing challenges our communities experience by leveraging grassroots organizing, advocacy, and community-building to drive meaningful change. BLM NH is an organization which came together from three different New Hampshire entities located in the Seacoast, Nashua and Manchester. This union harmonized a mosaic of voices, experiences, and viewpoints, amplifying the right for racial justice and equity. These statewide efforts make for rapid mobilization and resource sharing across New Hampshire’s dynamic landscape.

We believe racial justice is more than a movement. It's a commitment to showing up for our communities every single day. From providing direct financial assistance to Black and Brown families, to advocating for Black maternal health, investing in youth leadership, and fighting for equitable policies, our work turns collective action into meaningful change.
